VIN Decoder
Vehicles may selected using a VIN decoder which is built into WEBLINK2. Enter the full 17 digit/character VIN code into the Enter VIN box, click Decode VIN.
Use of the Decode VIN feature may also be accomplished using a barcode scanner. Rather than typing the VIN into the Enter VIN box simply scan it in!
Note: Some vehicles may require manual selection of sub-model or engine.
There are many scanners available with many different functions. Some are very “rugged” and some are not. Some scanners can scan in bright sunlight while others cannot. Scanner shown is an Intermec SF51; it is very rugged, has the ability to scan in bright sunlight and connects via Bluetooth to your PC.
